New play opening in Roscoe Village

The Triple Locks Theater in Roscoe Village is continuing its 60th season with a new production of Rumors on March 6th.

A reprisal of one of Neil Simon’s funniest plays, Rumors is a fast-paced comedy about four couples invited to a  wedding anniversary party.

When they arrive they discover their hostess ”missing” and their host with a fresh bullet wound to his ear lobe.  The gunshot is self-inflicted and so is the hilarity, as all four couples scramble to protect their host by concealing the incident from each other — and the outside world.

Rumors opens on Friday March 6th and it is the can’t-miss production of the Triple Locks season.  Additional performances are scheduled for Saturday March 7th and each weekend March 13th & 14th, and March 20th & 21st.  All showtimes are 8:00 p.m.  Ticket prices are $10 for adults and $5 for children.  Call the Triple Locks Theater box office at (740) 622-2959

** A tip from HistoricRoscoeVillage.com:  The best way to enjoy a play at the Triple Locks Theater is with dinner at the new Warehouse Steak-n-Stein restaurant and relaxing overnight accomodations — with breakfast — in one of our beautiful Bed & Breakfast Inns.  Details here.
