Roscoe Village was founded in 1831 as a key shipping point for farm produce on the old Ohio & Erie Canal.
Each fall at harvest time, farmers of yesteryear hauled their goods by wagon to Roscoe Village for shipping to hungry cities many miles away.
Today Roscoe Village is still situated in one of the most productive agricultural regions in Ohio. The beautiful farms you see along the highway when you travel to Roscoe Village produce magnificent harvests every fall.
On Saturday August 8th, the Shoppes of Roscoe Village will celebrate our farm heritage with a Fall Harvest Preview.
Some of our best shops will be displaying new fall merchandise for you to preview and many local Coshocton County farmers will line the street with mid-season produce for you to enjoy– fresh from the farm.
UPDATE: The Roscoe Village Farmers Market is now held every Sunday from 11-3 on North Whitewoman Street in Roscoe Village. Live music begins at 3:00 every Sunday on the Garden Court at the Warehouse Steak & Stein and you will find farm vendors in front of nearly every Roscoe Village shop all day.
