The Roscoe Village Farmers Market is held every Sunday — rain or shine — from 11-3 on North Whitewoman Street. (We’re still in the habit of saying “rain or shine” even though rain is prohibited on weekends in Roscoe Village Ohio.)

The next Farmers Market in Roscoe Village is this Sunday August 30th from 11:00 – 3:00.  Fresh vegetables, jam, jelly, juice, baked goods and much more.  See you then!

Roscoe Village Farmer’s Market Begins Saturday Aug 8th

The first Farmers Market in Roscoe Village will be held on Saturday August 8 at 10 a.m.

Our local farmers have promised to hand-pick their very best farm produce especially for this day to offer exclusively in Roscoe Village. 

Here’s a short list of what you’ll find at our first Farmer’s Market Fall Harvest Preview:

• Stacks of sweet corn
• Racks of ripe tomatoes
• Gaggles of green beens
• and a panoply of peppers 
  Plus fresh baked goods from Coshocton County farms!

Just like a 19th-century canal boat landing, all the fresh farm goodies will be spread out on North Whitewoman Street from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. 

And for an additional layer of Fall Harvest fun our best home and garden shops TIMBUKTU, The Garden Gate, The Cottage Gate and Knob Hill Designs will stay open late (’til 8pm) to preview the newest fall furnishings and accessories for the home.

Clary Gardens Amphitheater Grand Opening July 4th weekend

On Saturday July 4th, Clary Gardens will host the grand opening of its new all-sandstone
Theatre In The Ravine Amphitheater. 

This event is free and open to the public and visitors are cordially invited to attend the weekend event and tour the Garden from 1-5 p.m.

Clary Gardens is a new public garden set in the rolling Appalachian foothills of Coshocton County.   

Clary Gardens is a treasure trove of natural splendor and tranquility established with long-term sustainable garden practices in mind.

This beautiful addition to the unique Coshocton county and Roscoe Village experience encompasses 20 acres of land that have been permanently preserved for public education and the development of many new themed gardens to be enjoyed for decades to come.    

The entrance to Clary Gardens is a mere 500 feet west of North Whitewoman Street, making it a breeze to add an enriching walking tour of Clary Gardens to your next visit to Roscoe Village Ohio.

Garden Gate Summer workshops begin

The Garden Gate Shop in Roscoe Village is offering several new garden workshops this summer.

Each upcoming workshop offers fun,  hands-on instruction for making beautiful personalized garden accessories, as well as specialty plantings — such as Inductory Bonsai Gardening.  Each class is held in the Garden Gate’s new garden studio at 403 North Whitewoman.

Dulcimer Days Festival June 19-21

The 2009 Dulcimer Days festival begins this Friday June 19 at the Courthouse Square in Coshocton. 

Traditionally held each summer on North Whitewoman Street in Roscoe Village Ohio, the 35th annual Dulcimer Days festival will convene this year in Coshocton. 

A free shuttle service from Roscoe Village to the Dulcimer Days festival will be offered on Saturday and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.

Corvettes at Roscoe Cruise-In this weekend in Roscoe Village

The 11th Annual Corvettes at Roscoe Cruise-In will take place this Sunday, June 14

This first Roscoe Village event of the year will feature more than 100 classic Corvettes dispayed all along North Whitewoman Street and Hill Street in Historic Roscoe Village Ohio

The Corvette Cruise-In begins on 10 a.m. and awards will be presented at 4 p.m.  Admission for spectators is free

The Corvettes at Roscoe Cruise-in is sponsored by The Classic Glass Corvette Club.  For more information about the greatest American sports car click here

Custom leather holsters at River Ridge Leather in Roscoe Village

Are you a Cowboy Action Shooting enthusiast?

If so, you need to make a trip to visit River Ridge Leather Shop in Roscoe Village Ohio.

These two western holsters and gun belts (shown left and bottom right) were custom made at River Ridge Leather Co.

Both custom Cowboy Action shooting rigs were handmade from 100% premium bridle leather for rugged durability and authentic Western looks.

The holster at left was custom made for a single-action Smith & Wesson .357 revolver with a 5-inch barrel.  The holster at bottom-right was custom made for a single-action Ruger .44 with a 6-inch barrel.

Each was cut by hand from oak-tanned bridle leather, then completely hand-tooled and hand-stitched for a custom fit. Both were made by shop owner Dennis Knight and hand carved by his journeyman apprentice, Tom Sesterhenn
